Buying a Bluetooth headset can be quite expensive. Before you decide which one is suitable for you need to research and find out what it can do for you. There are certain features you want to look at before you splurge on a set that doesn't work for you.
Comfort of the Headset:
The headset and ear pieces come in many shapes and sizes, as we are all different. Some of them, especially the pricier ones do offer more comfort on the padded ear pieces and padding around the head. There is nothing worse than listening to your favorite piece of music and find that the headset is digging into your ears and head. Then there are those sets where the ear buds go straight into the inside of the ear. If you get one of these then don't ever make the mistake of sharing them with anyone. The only reason is that you could either give someone an ear infection or vice versa.
Then you have to buy some rechargeable batteries in case you use the head set for long hours. Recharging them will save a lot of money in the long run.Check for the sound quality as well, because you want to have a volumising control on the wire so you can control the sound from the headset and not the television or stereo.
Finally, look at the percentage of compatibility with other bluetooth devices that you may have lying around the house. This could be your cell phone, MP3 player, laptop, desktop or your hi-fi set. Then make sure that you can use the set outside to listen to music. There are some bluetooth headsets that don't have a lengthy wire- they are wireless. The sound is picked up through the headset by a sonic device so you can wander around the garden in your pajamas listening to Beethoven or the Beatles, without any wires cluttering the house.
